REBATES/INCENTIVES

Maximizing energy efficiency and saving money is important to all of us. Check out these rebates and incentives to find out what’s available in your service region to help you buy the best system for your family and the environment, and to realize the savings.* Call us for current incentives directly from Trane.

Central Electric Cooperative
Central Electric Cooperative offers incentives that include an $800 discount if you have more than one system, and an additional $1,600 discount may be available if your home is more than 4,500 square feet. CEC also offers financing for the system through Bank of the Cascades.

  • Mastic sealed and tested duct systems
  • High efficient heat pumps that are 8.5 HSPF 14 SEER minimum standards
  • Multiple relief air form areas of the home

Midstate Electric Cooperative
$1,100 rebate for an air source heat pump that has a minimum efficiency rating of 8.5 HSPF, 14 SEER installed in a home with a crawlspace and ducts that meet PTCS requirements. Rebate is lower if installed in a home where less than 75% of ducts are in unconditioned areas (i.e. conditioned crawlspace, basement). Note that the efficiency ratings are higher to qualify for a State or Federal tax credit.

$1,350 rebate for an air source heat pump that has a minimum efficiency rating of 9.5 HSPF, 14 SEER installed in a home with a crawlspace and ducts that meets PTCS requirements. Rebate is lower if installed in a home where less than 75% of ducts are in unconditioned areas (i.e. conditioned crawlspace, basement).

$3,000 rebate for ground source heat pump (geothermal) that meets PTCS standards and is installed by an International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) certified installer. Rebate may be lower if installed in a manufactured home.

Energy Trust of Oregon (for Pacific Power customers)
Energy Trust of Oregon's incentives include:

Heat pump upgrade: Up to $200; For upgrades or new installations in existing homes
(Minimum efficiency HSPF 8.2, SEER 14, EER 11.5)
OR
Heat pump installation: Up to $400; For electric heating systems converting to heat pumps
(Minimum efficiency HSPF 8.2, SEER 14, EER 11.5)

Energy Trust of Oregon offers additional incentives of $300 to $350 for mastic sealed and tested duct systems.

State of Oregon Tax Credits
State of Oregon offers incentives of $300 to $580 depending on what equipment is installed. It also offers a $150 kicker if duct seal and heat pump credits are filed at the same time.

  • High efficient heat pumps 9.0 HSPF 12 SEER minimum standards
  • High efficient air conditioners 13 SEER minimum standard
  • Mastic sealed and tested duct systems
  • Check-Me tested systems
